Bujold Ficathon Round-up
And the ficathon draws to an end for another year. I'm sure there will be a few more fics to follow, and you can continue to add them to the collection, but we're closed to new prompts now.

We've had fourteen fics written:

And So It Goes by Franavu
Written for the prompt: Mark becomes a torch singer at a Beta Colony nightclub.

And Eat It, Too by Artifiction
Written for the prompt: Gregor decides to 'meet the people' - incognito - by working in Ivan's favourite bakery/cafe. Ivan or Byerly (or both) have the wonderful task of being part of the team keeping an eye on him - which can't be easy with all that distracting cake.

The Rule of Law by Philomytha
Written for the prompt: Count Vorhalas and his family during Barrayar, after things start going horribly wrong for them.

A Sanctuary of Sorts by amoama
Written for the prompt: For a long time, Drou was the only person Kareen could trust.

The Equine Affair by ExtraPenguin
Written for the prompt: The tale of Gregor finding/approving/delivering the perfect horse for Laisa. Who was it purchased from? Did Gregor have to get personally involved so the owners would part with it?

The Definitive Guide to Barrayar For Confused Betans by ExtraPenguin
Written for the prompt: The Guide Book To Barrayar For Confused Betans (or Escobarans, Cetagandans, Komarrans, etc).

If and When by ollipop
Written for the prompt: For a long time, Drou was the only person Kareen could trust.

Protocol Briefing for Nexus visitors to Barrayar by Gwynne
Written for the prompt: The Guide Book To Barrayar For Confused Betans (or Escobarans, Cetagandans, Komarrans, etc).

The Old Ways by RogerStenning
Written for the prompt: Simon Illyan, fighting dirty.

Serviceable Seduction by Author376
Written for the prompt: Duv Galeni, being seduced into the Service by shiny boots. Or just being seduced.

"He was NEVER a Bloody Courier Officer!" by RogerStenning
Written for the prompt: A discussion among Miles's Vor contempories trying to figure what he really did when he was in ImpSec. Because they had gotten to know him well enough to see that being a courier officer would have allowed ImpSec to make the first known recording of spontaneous human combustion out of boredom.

Beyond Reach by Elvaron
Written for the prompt: Aral/Kareen, that relationship, anything.

Let's See What Happens by ollipop
Written for the prompt: Laisa gets pregnant (due to dodgy implant - whatever) and doesn't discover this until other people notice the signs. On discovery of the truth Laisa, to everyone's shock, decides she wants to carry the child full term rather than do a uterine replicator transfer. Many people thinks she's hormonally nuts, Gregor wants the transfer. Everyone has an opinion...

Many thanks to everyone who's taken part, in writing, prompting, or just reading and commenting. I hope you all had a good time!

Thanks Philomytha for arranging it etc, it's been great and I've got to know some of the writers better too which has been a brilliant side-effect - for me (they may not think so - heh!) :D

Hope I'm able to take part in the next one too!
